Setting the stage for success
I was hired as a UX designer but quickly discovered the company had no product strategy—no competitive analysis, product vision, or differentiation. Rather than design in a vacuum, I conducted my own market research and presented strategic recommendations to the client. They realized they needed product leadership, not just design, and asked me to transition into leading the entire product strategy. This experience taught me that great design requires great strategy, and sometimes you have to build the foundation before you can create the solution.

"Jackie has played a major role in helping us prioritize core features, shape our product strategy, and build a roadmap that truly supports clinicians. He took the lead on preparing for our global outreach, including the Web Summit, by creating pitch decks, branded materials, and demo videos that bring our story to life. He also worked closely with the development team to improve our audio processing speed, and helped transform our brand and web app to support localization and scale internationally. We’re grateful for his clear thinking, strong follow-through, and product leadership as we continue to grow ROSC. 🙏"
